About me

I am an assistant professor at Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. I work in the area of geometric group theory, focusing on topics related to Kazhdan’s property (T).

Before, I was an assistant professor at Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. My research was supported there by the NSC Sonatina grant “Algebraic spectral gaps in group cohomology” whose I am a principal investigator. Earlier, I was funded by the two projects of prof. Piotr Nowak: NSC Maestro grant “Analysis on Groups” and the ERC Starting Grant “Rigidity of groups and higher index theory”.

I obtained a PhD degree at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where I worked in algebraic topology, focusing on finite group actions on manifolds.

In my scientific work I often support myself with computer calculations.
