I am an assistant professor at Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. I work in the area of geometric group theory, focusing on topics related to Kazhdan’s property (T).
My research is supported by the NSC Sonatina grant “Algebraic spectral gaps in group cohomology” whose I am a principal investigator. Earlier, I was funded by the two projects of prof. Piotr Nowak: NSC Maestro grant “Analysis on Groups” and the ERC Starting Grant “Rigidity of groups and higher index theory”.
I obtained a PhD degree at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where I worked in algebraic topology, focusing on finite group actions on manifolds.
In my scientific work I often support myself with computer calculations.
